DENVER LUXURY RESIDENCE — SYNTHETIC SLATE ROOF TRANSFORMATION

Composition Shingle to DaVinci Slate Conversion | Custom Conical Turrets | 2020
Completed in 2020, this extensive residential roofing project transformed an existing composition-shingle roof into a premium DaVinci synthetic slate roofing system. The installation required comprehensive planning, specialized access and scaffolding, detailed roof preparation, and coordination of multiple architectural roofing components.
The new roof incorporated DaVinci Province Slate across the primary roof planes and custom Multi-Width Slate assemblies on two distinctive conical turrets. Additional work included roof ventilation evaluation, specialized underlayment, custom copper and sheet-metal flashings, skylight integration, and precision detailing at complex roof intersections and transitions.
Particular attention was given to the conical turret assemblies, where specialized slate installation, precise course layouts, and custom copper terminations were necessary to accommodate the property's unique architectural geometry.
The completed project demonstrates the technical coordination, specialized craftsmanship, and construction management experience required to transform a conventional roofing system into a distinctive architectural slate installation.

As part of a comprehensive residential restoration, CSTA managed the construction and finish execution of a custom farmhouse-inspired entertainment bar designed to complement the character of the existing residence.
The project incorporated reclaimed railroad ties sourced from the property, carefully restored and repurposed into architectural shelving, rustic trim, and custom finish details. These materials were combined with leather-finished granite, butcher-block surfaces, custom cabinetry, beverage refrigeration, integrated lighting, and specialty finish carpentry.
The completed space blends rustic craftsmanship with modern functionality, creating a distinctive indoor entertainment area with an organic, Wabi-Sabi-inspired aesthetic.
The project demonstrates CSTA's ability to coordinate interior reconstruction, specialty trades, custom material applications, and detailed finish work while maintaining the architectural character of an existing home.
